Please Note:
- Current VU/VUMC employees / dual-identity users: The disclosure was submitted using a specific email address for each inventor — you must log in using the exact credentials tied to the recipient email address in the notification email (ending in either @vanderbilt.edu or @vumc.org).
- If the email is a @vumc.org address → click the “Current VU/VUMC employees” button, then enter your VUMC email address (e.g., firstname.lastname@vumc.org) on the Vanderbilt OneVU sign-in screen and click Next. You will then be redirected to the VUMC sign-in page where you log in using your VUMC credentials.
- If the email is a @vanderbilt.edu address → click the “Current VU/VUMC employees” button and log in with your normal VUnetID / Vanderbilt credentials (OneVU).
Helpful Tip for dual-identity users: Use an incognito/private browsing window to avoid session conflicts. - Important: Current or former VU/VUMC employees must NOT use the “External Collaborators” option. This option is only for people who have never been affiliated with Vanderbilt University or VUMC. The disclosure was created during your employment, so please use the “Current VU/VUMC employees” button instead.
- External Collaborators (for individuals with no prior or current affiliation with VU/VUMC) — use this option only if the statement above does not apply to you.
